Luggage storage
Our luggage storage service allows you to leave your suitcases at our house, if you prefer to move around and visit the surrounding places without carrying them with you.
The luggage storage service allows you to store your luggage at our house for a limited period of time, and in any case no longer than 10 days.
The price indicated on the “Rates” page refers to a single piece of baggage on a daily basis, i.e. from 00.00 to 23.59, for collection after 12pm an extra day will be calculated.
The single bag can have a maximum size of 50cm x 50cm x 100cm and a maximum weight of 20kg. In case of excess, the double rate may be applied.
When depositing your luggage, payment is required for the time you wish to use the service.
Furthermore, it is necessary that you inform us of the date and time of collection so that we can organize it.
The opening hours of the service are: every day from 9:00 to 19:00, unless otherwise agreed.
The owner of the baggage is responsible for any injury or damage to property or third parties caused by the stored items or by any negligent act or omission.
Terms of Service
BEFORE ACCESSING THE SERVICE PLEASE READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS THE SERVICE.
Prohibited items
It is not possible to use the luggage storage service to store the following items:
- Any article the possession or transportation of which is illegal
- Travel documents (e.g. passports, boarding passes)
- Live and non-live animals
- Explosives, combustibles, dangerous or flammable materials
- Pesticides, toxic chemicals, pollutants or waste of any kind
- Weapons, firearms or ammunition
- Controlled substances or dangerous goods
- Stolen goods, substances or other contraband deemed illegal or illegal within the country where you are storing your baggage
- Perishable or spoiled food products
- Radioactive materials
- Medicines, drugs or other controlled substances not prescribed or purchased over the counter for personal use
- Jewellery, watches and objects in precious metals
- Subjective or sentimental items and other valuables
- Cash or marketable assets that hold monetary value (e.g., stock certificates, stocks, bonds, lottery tickets, gift cards, irreplaceable items)
- Other items that we decide to consider prohibited at the time of requesting the service
We have the right to remove and dispose of any prohibited item without notice to the owner and without any liability on our part to the owner.
We have the right to report any illegal or suspected illegal activity or any dangerous items stored to any relevant authority.
We have the right to inspect, in the presence of the owner of the baggage, each checked item and to refuse any prohibited item or other items at our discretion.
We have the right to notify law enforcement of any item we believe may violate the law.
Responsibility
Without prejudice to legal obligations, we are in no way held responsible for any damage, loss or theft of stored items. We assume no obligation to protect Prohibited Items from loss, theft or damage.
We will only be liable for loss or damage you suffer directly from any breach of these conditions by us, or if we act negligently or fraudulently. In the event of our liability, the maximum amount that we can pay is equal to the amount paid for the deposit service.
The owner of the luggage is only liable to us for loss or damage suffered directly from any breach of these conditions or if he acts negligently or fraudulently.
Failure to collect
At the end of the storage period, if the baggage is unclaimed, the owner of the baggage understands and agrees that we may extend the duration of the storage service at the rate applicable at that time, to cover the entire period of storage of the baggage at us, whether or not we have notified you.
In the event that the owner cannot be found, the owner understands and authorizes us to dispose of the baggage at our sole discretion, including any disposal, waiving any claim against us and without any liability on our part.
